Watch Your Step

Last night at dinner, Mrs Donna spoke a little about her journey through the In His Steps Dance Ministry. She mentioned that at the first dance recital, she could vividly remember going up the steps to get ready for the event and could hear the devil talking to her. Telling her, she couldn't do it. But, she could also hear another small but more powerful voice saying she could. "God is going to order your steps, but you have to choose to go up the staircase. So don't worry, It's All In HIS Steps!!!" She reminded herself.

Psalm 37: 23-24 says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand."

When Mrs Donna was going up the stairs, the devil may have told her she couldn't do it, but she knew that the Lord had ordered her steps and that she could do it.

It may seem easy to recognize that you are walking up the stairs the Lord had ordered for you, but some of the steps are going to be hard. Watch your step because the devil will always try to find a way to knock you down!! This verse says, "Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand." If you fall, get right back up because God's got you.

Listen, we all have a different staircase, and I promise you that it's not going to be easy to get to the top, it never is. The devil is mean, sick and is going to try and be that voice saying, "no, don't do it, you can't do it!!" But I know that the other voice that says "Go because I am with you," is even more powerful than any voice telling me not to go.

The Challenge:

I challenge you today to stop listening to the voice telling you not to do it, or you can't make it! Listen to God and do it for Him! He knows that you can make it!

Have a blessed week and make sure you watch your step.
