Devotional: The fear of the Lord is often misunderstood. It's not about being scared of God, but rather having a deep reverence and awe for Him. This holy fear is the foundation of wisdom and the key to a close relationship with God. When we truly fear the Lord, we position ourselves to receive His secrets and understand His ways.
Definition: AWE - a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder.
Reflect: Today, think about your view of God. Do you approach Him with casual familiarity or with reverent awe? Ask God to instill in you a proper fear of Him that leads to wisdom and intimacy.
