Day 2: Embracing Servanthood

Reading: Philippians 2:6–7 (NLT)

Scriptural Thought: “Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.” — Philippians 2:6

Reflection: Jesus gave up His divine privileges and took on the position of a servant. That should shake us! If the Son of God could let go of position and power to serve others, what are we clinging to that keeps us from serving the same way?

3-Step Application:

1. Ask God to reveal any pride or position you’re holding onto.

2. Volunteer your time this week—even in small, unnoticed ways.

3. Confess any reluctance to serve others and ask for strength to follow through.

Closing Prayer: Father, teach me to let go of my pride. I want to serve like Jesus—without needing recognition, status, or reward. Let my heart mirror Yours. In Jesus' name, Amen.
