DAY 2: Love With All Your Heart

Reading: Deuteronomy 6:5 (NLT) – “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.”

Devotional: The heart in Scripture isn't just your feelings—it’s the seat of your desires, values, and affections. God wants more than emotional moments; He wants your loyalty, your passion, and your devotion. Loving God with your heart means prioritizing Him above all. It’s not perfection, it’s pursuit. A heart that chases after God reflects a life of surrender and sincere love.

Reflection:

  • Where does your heart drift when you’re under pressure?

  • What would it look like to love God with more of your emotional energy?

3-Step Application:

  1. Journal what your heart feels drawn to most each day.

  2. Ask God to replace any idols with a deeper affection for Him.

  3. Make space in your day for emotional honesty with God—praise, joy, or grief.

Closing Prayer: God, my heart is Yours. Help me give You my affection, my devotion, and my desires. Teach me to love You first and most. Reorder my heart around what matters to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
