Day 4: Navigating Relationships as a Disciple

Devotional: Following Christ impacts every aspect of our lives, including our relationships. While this passage specifically addresses marriage, its principles apply broadly. As disciples, we're called to balance our earthly responsibilities with our devotion to God. This can create tension, especially when those close to us don't share our faith priorities. Reflect on your key relationships today. How can you honor God while still fulfilling your relational duties to your spouse, friends, family, business partners etc? Pray for wisdom to navigate these complexities and for opportunities to be a Christ-like influence on those around you.

Prayer:  Father, guide me as I navigate my relationships in a way that honors You. Help me to balance my earthly responsibilities with my devotion to You, especially when there's tension with those who don't share my faith priorities. Grant me wisdom and grace to be a Christ-like influence, and use me to reflect Your love in all my interactions. I pray for Your wisdom and opportunities to share Your light with those around me.
