Day 1 — Jesus Refused to Stop Loving

Matthew 12:14 (NLT)

"Then the Pharisees called a meeting to plot how to kill Jesus."

Scriptural Thought

It's shocking how quickly this moment happens.

Jesus healed a man with a withered hand—someone who had suffered for years. Instead of celebrating a miracle, the religious leaders began planning His death.

Think about that.

Jesus did good...and people responded with evil.

If you've ever been misunderstood...criticized...or attacked for trying to do what's right...

You're in good company.

Jesus understands.

But here's what stands out.

He didn't retaliate. He didn't quit. He didn't become bitter.

He kept loving. He kept serving. He kept obeying His Father.

The world teaches us that if someone hurts us, we should hurt them back.

Jesus shows us another way.

Standing firm doesn't mean becoming hard-hearted.

It means remaining faithful while refusing to let hatred take over your heart.

2. Ask God to help you see that person through His eyes.

3. Choose one act of kindness instead of retaliation today.

Closing Prayer

Father,Thank You for showing me what true strength looks like. Help me stand firm in truth without becoming bitter. Keep my heart soft even when others are hard toward me. Teach me to respond the way Jesus did. In Jesus' name, Amen.
