Day 1: The Image of the Invisible God

Scripture Reading: Colossians 1:15

“Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation.”

Scriptural Thought: When we look at Jesus, we see the character and nature of God on display. He was not distant. He came close. He walked among us. And He shows us exactly what God is like.

Reflection: What image comes to your mind when you think of God? Does Jesus change that image for you?

3-Step Application:

1. Meditate on how Jesus reveals the heart of the Father. (ex. - John 14:9 (NLT) How have you seen the heart of the Father in your life?

2. Read one Gospel story where Jesus shows compassion. (ex. - Matthew 9)

3. Journal how that image of God impacts your faith today.

Closing Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for revealing the heart of the Father. Help me to see You clearly, so I may know God more deeply. Shift my focus from myself to who You are. Amen.
