Worship Song: "Way Maker" by Leeland
Reading: Psalm 27:14 (NLT)
"Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord."
Devotional: Waiting on God’s promises can feel challenging, especially when circumstances seem unchanged. But scripture reminds us that waiting is not wasted—it’s a season of preparation. God is shaping us to receive what He has in store. As a farmer patiently waits for the harvest, we must trust that God’s timing is perfect. Delays are not denials; they are divine setups for something greater.
Reflection:
What are you currently waiting for in your life?
How can you practice patience while trusting God’s timing?
3-Step Application:
Start each morning with a prayer of surrender, acknowledging that God’s timing is perfect.
Write down one experience where God’s timing proved better than your own.
Encourage someone else in a waiting season by sharing a scripture or word of hope.
Closing Prayer: Lord, I trust in Your perfect timing. Please help me be patient and wait with expectancy rather than worry. Strengthen my heart as I hold onto Your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.
