DAY 2: Compassion That Moves

📖 Reading: 1 John 3:17

“If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?”

💭 Scriptural Thought: John confronts us with a tough truth—if we see a need and do nothing, something’s wrong with our love. Compassion without action is just emotion. True love doesn't scroll past pain—it stops, steps in, and sacrifices.

Reflection: What needs have you seen lately that you ignored? Is there someone around you hurting right now?

2. Offer to meet a small, practical need.

3. Pray for God to break your heart for what breaks His.

Prayer: Father, I don’t want to love in theory. Stir up a compassion in me that moves. Show me where I’ve been numb or distracted, and help me respond in love. In Your Son Jesus' name, Amen.
