DAY 1: Love That Looks Like Jesus

📖 Reading: 1 John 3:16

“We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.”

Scriptural Thought: The Bible clearly shows us that love is not based on feelings but on sacrifice. Jesus didn’t just talk about love; He laid down His life. That’s our blueprint. When we love like Jesus, we are willing to inconvenience ourselves, give up comfort for compassion, and choose others above ourselves.

Reflection: When was the last time love cost you something? Do your relationships reflect Jesus-style sacrifice?

1. Write down one way Jesus has loved you sacrificially.

2. Ask God to show you someone to serve today.

3. Do one act of love that stretches you beyond convenience.

Closing Prayer: Father, thank You for showing me what real love looks like. Help me to not just talk about love, but live it in how I treat others. Show me where I can lay something down for someone today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
