DAY 3: Stop Talking — Start Showing

📖 Reading: 1 John 3:18

“Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.”

💭 Scriptural Thought: Words matter—but action proves them. John challenges us to love in ways that are visible and verifiable. Anyone can say “I love you,” but love is validated when it costs time, effort, and self. It’s not about what we feel—it’s about what we do.

Reflection: Who needs less talk from you and more action? Are you known for promises or presence?

✅ 3-Step Application:

1. Write a list of 3 ways you can “show” love this week.

2. Choose one and do it today—don’t wait.

3. Invite someone (other than the person you may be struggling with) into your life to hold you accountable.

Prayer: Lord, help me to stop just saying I love others and start showing it. Let my life speak louder than my lips. Please give me the boldness to act when it's inconvenient. In Jesus' name, amen.
