Day 3 — Love That Stays

Reading: Romans 8:35–37 (NLT)

Scriptural Thought:

Paul lists trouble, calamity, persecution, hunger, danger, and even death-like hardship — and then asks if any of it can separate us from Christ’s love. The answer is no. Hard seasons may shake you, but they cannot separate you from Him.

Reflection:

Sometimes we wrongly assume that pain means God has backed away. But Romans 8 reminds us that suffering is not proof of abandonment. God does not disappear in your hard moments. He stays. His love is not only for your best days. His love reaches into grief, pressure, disappointment, and uncertainty.

3-Step Application:

  1. Be honest with God today about what feels heavy right now.

  2. Read Romans 8:35–37 slowly and personally.

  3. Remind yourself: “What I am facing is real, but it is not stronger than God’s love.”

Closing Prayer:

Jesus, thank You that Your love does not leave when life gets hard. Meet me in every pressure point of my life and remind me that I am held by You. Strengthen my heart to keep trusting You. In Your name I pray, amen.
