Day 3: Seeking God First

Reading: Matthew 6:31-34

Devotional: Our natural instinct is often to try solving problems on our own or seeking worldly solutions. However, Jesus teaches us to seek God's kingdom first, promising that everything else will fall into place. This doesn't mean our problems will instantly disappear, but it does mean we'll have God's wisdom and strength to face them. Today, identify an area of concern in your life. Instead of worrying or trying to control the situation, surrender it to God. Seek His guidance through prayer and His Word. Trust that as you prioritize your relationship with Him, He will provide for your needs and guide your path.

Reflection Question: What specific area of your life do you need to surrender to God today, and how will you seek His guidance and strength?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I acknowledge my tendency to try and solve problems on my own. Help me to seek Your kingdom first in all areas of my life. Today, I surrender my worries and concerns to You. Guide me through Your Word and prayer, and help me to trust that You will provide for my needs and lead my path. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
