Reading: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Devotional: The path of discipleship often involves suffering. Like James and John in Mark 10, we may eagerly volunteer to follow Christ without fully grasping the challenges ahead. Yet, as Paul learned, God's grace is sufficient in our weakness. When we face trials, it's an opportunity for Christ's power to be displayed in us. Think about a current struggle in your life. How might God be using this difficulty to strengthen your faith or reveal His power? Today, instead of asking for the trial to be removed, pray for God's grace to be magnified through your weakness.
Prayer: Merciful Father, in times of suffering, may Your grace be my strength. I trust that Your power is made perfect in my weakness, and I invite You to use my trials to grow my faith and reveal Your glory. Rather than seeking to escape difficulties, I pray for Your grace to be magnified through them. Help me to see Your hand at work and to find strength and peace in Your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.
