Week 1 Day 2 — Stay With It

Read Scripture: James 1:4
Scripture Thought:
James says endurance must have its full effect so that we may be mature and complete. That means we cannot quit in the middle of what God is doing. Growth takes time. Maturity is not formed overnight. God often does His greatest work through steady, ongoing faithfulness.
Reflection: We often want God to move quickly, but God is more concerned with depth than speed. He is not just trying to get you out of a hard season. He is trying to grow you through it. The process may feel long, but every step matters. When you stay with God through the trial, you give His work room to grow deeper in your life.
3-Step Application:
1. Resist the urge to quit. Stay committed to God even when the process feels slow.
2. Keep showing up. Continue praying, worshiping, and obeying in the middle of the struggle.
3. Trust God’s timing. Believe that He knows how to finish what He started in you.
Prayer:
Father, help me stay faithful in the middle of the process. Teach me not to run from what You are trying to do in me. Strengthen my heart so I can endure and let Your work be completed in my life. Amen.
