Week 4 Day 1 — Don’t Lose Heart

Scriptural Thought

Jesus spoke these words to disciples who were troubled, uncertain, and afraid. Yet instead of giving them every detail, He gave them a promise: “I am preparing a place for you.”

Sometimes God does not explain the process—He simply asks us to trust Him through it.

Your current season may feel uncomfortable, slow, or unclear, but Jesus has not abandoned you. Heaven is real, His promises are true, and your life is moving toward eternity.

Reflection

We often want immediate answers, instant growth, and quick breakthroughs. But God works deeply, not just quickly. Waiting seasons are often shaping seasons.

If God is preparing a place for you, then He is also preparing you for that place.

3-Step Application

1. Spend 5 minutes thanking God for His promises instead of focusing on your problems.

2. Write down one area where you need to trust God more deeply.

3. Remind yourself today: “God is still working, even when I cannot see it.”

Prayer

Lord, help me trust You while I wait. When I feel uncertain, remind me that You are preparing something greater than I can imagine. Strengthen my faith and keep my heart focused on eternity. In Jesus' name, Amen.
