Reading: Romans 8:28-30, Galatians 5:1

Devotional: As we begin this journey, let's reflect on our true identity in Christ. The world often tells us to "be true to ourselves," but God calls us to a higher purpose - to be conformed to the image of His Son. Today's reading reminds us that God is working all things for our good, with the ultimate goal of shaping us to be more like Jesus.

Consider how freeing it is to know that your identity is not something you have to create or earn, but a gift from God. You are chosen, loved, and redeemed. How might your day-to-day life change if you fully embraced this truth? Take a moment to thank God for the freedom He offers in Christ and ask Him to help you live from this place of secure identity.

Practical Steps:

  1. Write down affirmations from Romans 8:28-30 and Galatians 5:1, and place them somewhere visible.

  2. Spend some time, thanking God for the identity He has given you through Christ.

  3. Reflect on a specific area of your life where embracing your identity in Christ could bring freedom or change.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing and loving me. Help me to embrace my true identity in Christ and live confidently as Your child. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
