Day 1 – When You Know Better but Don’t Do Better

📖 Reading: Romans 7:15–17 (NLT)

Scriptural Thought: Even Paul—church planter, miracle worker, theologian—admits, “I do what I hate.”This reminds us that spiritual maturity doesn’t exempt us from spiritual struggle. The presence of the struggle means the Spirit is at work. It means your soul is under construction. This is not a sign of failure—it’s a sign of formation.

Reflection: Where do you feel the tension between what you believe and how you behave?

✅ 3-Step Application:

  1. Write down one area you know God is calling you to obey.

  2. Confess where you’ve resisted Him.

  3. Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in that area today.

Prayer: Father, I know what’s right, but sometimes I still go left. Thank You that Your grace meets me in the middle of my mess. Teach me how to fight this battle from a place of surrender. Help me choose obedience over impulse. In Jesus' name, Amen.
