Scriptural Thought
Jesus warned that love would grow cold in confusing times — not because truth disappeared, but because endurance would be required. Formation is always happening. The only question is what is shaping us.
If Scripture doesn’t disciple us, something else will.
Reflection
We live in an age where information is constant, opinions are loud, and outrage is rewarded. Over time, that noise doesn’t just inform us — it forms us.
Jesus calls us to endure, not react. To remain anchored, not emotionally hijacked.
Pay attention to what you consume. Not everything loud deserves your loyalty.
Spiritual maturity often looks like choosing restraint over reaction.
3-Step Application
Evaluate your inputs — what voices shape your thinking most?
Create space for Scripture before engaging news or social media.
Practice discernment today by pausing before reacting.
Closing Prayer
God, help me discern truth from noise. Guard my heart from becoming cold or reactive. Shape my thinking through Your Word and teach me to endure with wisdom and love. Amen.
