DAY 4 — JESUS RESTORES WHAT DARKNESS TRIED TO DESTROY
Scripture Reading
Mark 5:15 NLT
“He was sitting there fully clothed and perfectly sane…”
Devotional Thought
This is one of the most powerful images in Scripture.
The same man who was once:
Tormented
Isolated
Out of control
Living among tombs
Is now sitting in peace.
Fully restored.
Completely changed.
This is what Jesus does.
Spiritual warfare is not just about defeating darkness—it’s about restoring people.
Jesus didn’t just remove the problem. He restored the person.
And He still does that today.
Maybe life has left damage in you:
Emotional wounds
Mental exhaustion
Spiritual burnout
Isolation
Shame
But Jesus doesn’t just want to pull you out of something.
He wants to bring you into something new:
Peace.
Wholeness.
Purpose.
Restoration.
Your story is not finished.
Reflection
What area of your life needs restoration—not just relief?
Where have you believed your past disqualifies your future?
3-Step Application
1. IDENTIFY THE DAMAGE
Be honest about what this season has done in you.
2. INVITE JESUS IN
Ask Him to restore what’s been broken.
3. STEP OUT OF ISOLATION
Don’t fight alone—connect with other Believers who can help you.
Closing Prayer
Jesus, thank You that You restore what life has broken. Heal what needs healing in me. Rebuild what has been damaged. Draw me closer to You and to the right people. Amen.
