DAY 5 — TELL SOMEBODY WHAT JESUS DID
Scripture Reading
Mark 5:18–19 NLT
“Go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you…”
Devotional Thought
The man who once lived in torment is now given a mission:
Tell somebody what Jesus did.
That’s the power of testimony.
You don’t need a perfect story. You just need an honest one.
Jesus gave me peace
Jesus helped me forgive
Jesus restored me
Jesus changed my thinking
Jesus carried me through
Your story doesn’t glorify your past.
It glorifies your Savior.
And someone needs to hear it.
Not later.
Now.
Reflection
What has Jesus already done in your life that you’ve overlooked?
Who needs to hear your story?
3-Step Application
1. REMEMBER
Reflect on where Jesus brought you from.
2. WRITE IT
Summarize your testimony in 3 sentences:
Where I was
What Jesus did
Where I am now
3. SHARE IT
Tell someone this week.
Closing Prayer
Jesus, thank You for everything You’ve done in my life. Give me courage to share my story and point others to You. Let my life reflect Your mercy and power. Amen.
FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT
The battle is real.
But so is Jesus’ authority.
Don’t become more aware of darkness than you are of Christ.
Because when darkness meets Jesus…
Jesus always wins.
And whatever you face this week, remember:
Darkness may show up—but it still has to answer to Jesus.
