Reading: Romans 8:31–32 (NLT)
Scriptural Thought:
The resurrection is proof that God is not against you. If God gave His Son and raised Him from the dead, then you do not have to wonder where you stand with Him in Christ. The empty tomb is not just evidence that Jesus is alive — it is evidence that God’s heart toward His people has been settled in love.
Reflection:
A lot of people live as though they have to keep guessing how God feels about them. When life is going well, they assume God is pleased. When life is hard, they assume God has pulled away. But the resurrection corrects that thinking. God has already spoken clearly through Jesus. The cross shows His love, and the resurrection confirms His victory. Because He got up, you can stop measuring God’s love by your circumstances and start anchoring your confidence in Christ.
3-Step Application:
Read Romans 8:31 out loud and personalize it: “If God is for me, who can be against me?”
Write down one area where you have questioned God’s heart toward you.
Surrender that area to the Lord and thank Him that the resurrection is proof He is for you.
Closing Prayer:
Father, thank You that I do not have to guess where I stand with You. Thank You for the cross and thank You for the empty tomb. Help me trust that because Jesus got up, I can live with confidence that You are for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
