Week 2: Day 4 — His Love Is Still Holding You

Reading: Romans 8:34–39 (NLT)

Scriptural Thought:

Jesus is not only risen — He is reigning, interceding, and still holding His people right now.

Reflection:

The resurrection is not just about what happened then. It is about what is true now. Jesus is alive right now. He is reigning right now. He is interceding right now. That means His love is not just a memory from the past; it is active and present today. If you are weak, His love is still holding you. If you are afraid, His love is still holding you. If you are disappointed, tired, or carrying pain, His love is still holding you. Because He got up, you are not hanging on by a thread. You are being held by a risen Savior whose love is stronger than your sin, your struggle, and your suffering.

3-Step Application:

1. Pause for a few quiet moments and thank Jesus that He is alive and holding you today.

2. Give God the specific burden you have been carrying this week.

3. Encourage one other person with this truth: “Because He got up, His love is still holding you.”

Closing Prayer:

Jesus, thank You that You are alive right now and still holding Your people. Thank You that Your love is not fragile, distant, or temporary. Help me rest in Your presence and live with confidence that nothing can separate me from Your love. In Your name I pray, amen.
